What's included in a Running Away journey?
Lodging, most of your meals (see specific itinerary), Hosts, Running Experts, baggage transfers, amazing scenery, fantastic runs, maps, route selections, and training information are all part of every Running Away journey. Once you arrive at your destination we want you to relax and let us take care of the details.

What are the minimum and maximum numbers of people on a Journey?
The minimum for any trip Running Away will operate is five people. The maximum for all of our trips ranges from 20-24 people. Typically a training journey will have a maximum of 24 people and an active journey will have a maximum of 20-22.

Who will be leading my journey?
Every journey has at least one Host and one Running Expert, with the exception of our By Design journeys. Typically we like to have a ratio of at least eight travelers to one Host/Expert. The goal of these people is to make your journey as pleasurable as possible. All of our Hosts and Experts are highly trained and knowledgeable about the area in which you are going, as well as event & trip operations.

What level of accommodations does Running Away provide?
At Running Away we use nothing less than a three star hotel and most of the time use four and five star hotels as well. In addition, we try to use hotels that are special and noted for their food, service and charm. Part of our goal in choosing our accommodations is to enhance your visit to the area.

How much free time will there be?
It depends on the trip. Typically Training Trips are more "scheduled" then Active Running Vacations. Every trip has some amount of free time designed to let you experience the area and culture of that region. At Running Away the Journey is about experiencing what you want, so it really depends on you!
