Marco Island - Florida's Gulf Coast

Day 1

Arrive in Sarasota by noon and head over the John Ringling Causeway to the Longboat Key Club and Resort for our welcome lunch. Our afternoon run takes us throughout Lido Key and through St. Armond’s Circle. Enjoy an evening stretch outside on the resorts private beach overlooking the Gulf of Mexico before taking in dinner in downtown Sarasota.

Day 2

Wake up ready to go as we spend the morning running and sunning on Longboat Key. As always, our 1 to 10 mile loop will be planned out by our Running Expert. Spend the afternoon sightseeing at the Ringling Brothers Museum of the Circus before heading to the Mote Marine Aquarium. Our private guide takes you on an Eco Boat Tour where you will encounter Dolphins, Manatees, Birds, Sea Horses and Stone Crabs. Enjoy dinner on your own tonight as we give you recommendations for St. Armond’s Circle dining and nightlife.

Day 3

Start off day 3 by heading to Siesta Key, as we begin our journey south to Naples. Our morning run takes us throughout the island before taking a dip in the ocean and grabbing lunch in Siesta Village. Our journey south will take us through Bonita Springs before arriving in Old Naples. Take the rest of the day to relax at the Inn On 5th and enjoy an evening stretch outside on the roof deck before dinner in downtown Naples.

Day 4

Take the short drive south to Marco Island, the largest of Florida's Ten Thousand Islands, as we prepare for our 4.5 mile beach run around the island. After working up a sweat enjoy lunch at the Marco Beach Ocean Resort before heading to the Briggs Nature Conservancy to explore the Mangroves by canoe and kayak at Rookery Bay. Head back to Naples for a late stretch and dinner in Old Town.

Day 5

Start the day with some energy food before running out the hotel door. Our run this morning takes us through the famous and exclusive Port Royal neighborhood and through the tree lined streets of Old Naples. Enjoy our final outdoor brunch together overlooking downtown Naples.
